My love for nature is reflected in my art. The pictures are hand painted with nature's paints - pressed flowers, grass, and leaves - with no two alike, making each piece unique. I try to depict a variety of subjects in my work from still life to beautiful sceneries. Sometime the flowers themselves inspire my design, to create the perfect harmony in a picture. Other times, a scene catches my attention and impresses me in a special way, so I aim to translate it into flowers. I also use these miracles of nature to artistically express my feelings, and create paintings that represent my ideas. I have always loved nature. I also have always loved art. Pressed flowers give me a wonderful combination of the two. In my work, I use flowers that I collect from everywhere I go, as well as things that, at first glance, might not symbolize beauty: leaves that were left outside and spent the winter covered by snow, peels from fruits or vegetables, bark, fluff, straw, weeds, moss, and roots. I choose them to best represent what I want. In a way, I give them a new life as part of a beautiful picture, in which they can dance with the flowers in perfect harmony. These are the paints I use, these are nature's paints, and no two are alike.
